Lumberjanes is by far one of the most entertaining and creative stories that I've read in a long time. The whole team outdid themselves once again. I've been waiting for this installment for over half a year now, and I can't wait for the next in February of 2018.

Full of adventures with crazy monsters, a story hooks you from page one, that old, nostalgic, summer camp feeling, and a whole bunch of hardcore lady-types, this is a must read for all people of all ages.

Lumberjanes Vol 7 A BirdEye View Shannon Watters Kat Leyh Noelle Stevenson Grace Ellis Brooke Allen Carey Pietsch Ayme Sotuyo Maarta Laiho Books Reviews

I didn't love it as much as I did the last volume but it is so good. This series is incredible entertaining, fun, sweet, and diverse. There were kittens! And the girls teaming up with other campers! And my favs Mal and Molly!
The seventh volume brings a new adventure in the form of a large roc that kidnaps the van of Council Lumberjanes and with our favorite squad rushing to rescue them, along with one very prickly member of Zodiac cabin, and Barney. The storyline has them trying to solve why the roc carried them off, while the squad tries to reach them, and then them working together to save themselves from the giant bird. A key difference in their approach to dealing with these magical creatures is pointed out, with the older Lumberjanes advocating for kill, while the younger generation calling for clever escape. In the end, they all work together to help the roc gets its goals, and get to leave. It sometimes also called upon elements from earlier volumes, like how Zodiac cabin now hates Roanoke cabin because the latter drove off Artemis, and also reminds us that Barney liked being with the Lumberjanes and feeling like belonging here. The special part about the ending is how the Lumberjane council assents to their request, which I was so happy about.
Fun book continuing the series.
My 9-year-old devoured this book. She loves the series, the chracters, & the stories.
My girls are addicted to Lumber Janes! These collections have a proud spot on the family bookshelf. Everyone enjoys reading them!
Love this series! I was a girl scout in my youth and the plays on it are hilarious! The plot abd character development are superb!
I love this series for the art, light heartedness, creative flair, and hard core girls finding adventures in the woods. Can’t get enough
